Knight Steel Armor (PBR)

Knight Steel Armor is an affordable and lightweight suit of armor designed to protect you in battle. This makes it the ideal kit for SCA, rebated steel heavy fight tournaments, historical medieval martial arts formats like Battle of the Nation and LARP players who want to recreate their role as a gallant knight.
Chain mail was the earliest type of metal body armor for knights, but it could be penetrated and damaged by arrows or thin swords. From the late 13th century CE onward, plate armour became more sophisticated; heavier and less flexible than chain mail but offering better protection from piercing weapons and some types of attacks.
In the 14th century, many knights began wearing breastplates and leg plates with greaves covering their knees. Additionally, they utilized a shield of some sort - usually of the long kite type used by Normans.
Coat of Plates: The coat of plates was the second major type of sheet steel armour for the body, consisting of a large poncho made up of flat pieces stitched behind leather or canvas which tied at both the back and sides. This style lasted into the mid-15th century and could be worn along with full plate armour protection.
The value of an English knight's armory varied considerably - in 1374 it was valued at PS16 (approximately five to eight years' rent for a London merchant's house or over three years' wages for a skilled laborer).
