Kragelund Gran Armchair

The Gran has that rare kind of softness that does not make a chair look bulky. Its wide seat is wrapped by a continuous curved backrest that flows directly into the arms, creating an enclosed, almost cocoon-like silhouette. In the renders, the upholstery is shown in muted olive green and warm gray-brown tones, while thin dark metal legs lift the heavy upholstered volume just enough to keep the piece visually light. A patterned cushion and loosely draped knitted throw make the presentation feel lived-in rather than showroom-perfect.
Designed by Oliver and Lukas WeissKrogh, the original Kragelund Gran measures approximately 86 cm wide, 74 cm deep and 73 cm high. Those compact proportions explain why the chair can sit comfortably in a living room without overwhelming the surrounding furniture, but it also suits bedroom corners, reading areas, lounges and refined waiting spaces.
For visualization work, this 3d model is especially useful because the character of the armchair depends on subtle surface details rather than complicated geometry. The slightly irregular fabric shading, rounded upholstery seams, thick seat volume and narrow metallic supports all read clearly in close architectural renders. The included decorative textile elements add an extra layer of realism, while the calm contemporary shape of the Kragelund Gran Armchair makes it easy to combine with Scandinavian, modern and understated luxury interiors.
