Minuit Armchair by stephane parmentier (several colors)

The first thing that gives this armchair its presence is not decoration, but sheer volume. Thick upholstered sides curve forward like two padded shells, meeting a broad backrest and framing the seat in one continuous, almost architectural gesture. Against that softness, the narrow exposed oak supports feel surprisingly graphic. They rise vertically beside the arms and create a small gap between timber and upholstery, a detail that makes the silhouette much more distinctive when viewed from an angle. The available renders also show the Minuit in several muted upholstery colors, which suits its restrained, gallery-like character.

Stéphane Parmentier designed the original piece with Pierre Frey fabric and a frame offered in natural or black-stained oak. Its generous proportions are 128 cm wide, 107 cm deep and 75 cm high, so despite the compact visual language this is a substantial lounge chair rather than a lightweight occasional seat. Each original Minuit Armchair is handcrafted in France.

That combination of rounded upholstery and sharply controlled wooden accents translates especially well into high-end interior visualization. The 3d model can anchor a quiet reading corner, hotel lounge, contemporary living room or luxury dressing area without needing additional ornament around it. It has enough personality for a close furniture shot, yet the low back and uncomplicated geometry keep it from overwhelming a wider architectural composition.
