Molly Dining Chair

The most interesting part of Molly is not the upholstery, but the piece of wood that seems to draw the entire chair in one continuous gesture. It travels around the seat, becomes a pair of light armrests and visually ties the front legs to the taller rear supports. That flowing frame leaves plenty of open space beneath the backrest, so the chair looks surprisingly airy despite its solid timber construction. Designed by Meneghello Paolelli for Porada, the original piece uses solid Canaletta walnut or ash together with a separate upholstered seat and back.
The cushions sit almost independently inside this wooden outline. Their soft, rounded shape is a good counterpoint to the slimmer legs and polished frame, while the visible grain gives close renders much more life than a uniform painted surface would. It is an easy chair to place around a contemporary dining table, but the silhouette is strong enough for restaurant interiors, boutique hospitality scenes or a single reading corner where the furniture needs to remain visually light.
For visualization work, the Molly Dining Chair 3D model is prepared in millimeters and measures roughly 604 x 593 x 765 mm within the scene. The mesh contains 39,680 polygons and 20,152 vertices, with wood and fabric materials set up for Corona 7. The archive includes 3ds Max 2017 and FBX formats, giving the asset a practical balance between detailed curved joinery and a polygon count that remains comfortable for furnishing larger interior projects.
