Anza pouffe

A plump upholstered cushion seems to hover above a spare architectural frame, giving the Anza seating family its slightly playful, almost weightless character. The compact pouffe uses a rounded top and four broad supports, all finished in the same dusty pink tone, while the longer benches pair softly curved upholstery with slim timber edging and flat slab legs. Beige fabric with pale wood creates a quiet Scandinavian mood; the blue and dark-stained version feels sharper and more graphic.

Designed by Rui Pereira and Ryosuke Fukusada, the collection takes its name from a Japanese expression meaning “to sit at ease.” It includes a pouffe, bench and coffee table, combining Portuguese and Japanese design influences in an unusually simple form.

The 3D model captures the contrast between firm construction and comfortable padding particularly well. Fine textile grain, gently softened cushion edges, visible wood patterns and clean material transitions should hold up convincingly in close interior renders. These pieces can work beside a dressing table, at the foot of a bed, in an entrance hall or as bright accent seating in a contemporary lounge.
