Ayana Sofa by B&B Italia

B&B Italia's Ayana Sofa illustrates warm minimalism with the warmth of wood. The round section structures are made from unpainted natural teak wood for a classic, timeless aesthetic. They're distinguished by invisible joints made out of wooden pins - an ancestral choice that calls to mind ancient tools and primitive constructions.

This collection consists of a two-seater sofa, three-seater sofa and armchair with backrest at different heights for an ergonomic seat. Crafted out of solid teak wood with shaped polyurethane padding and polyester fiber cover with water-repellent treatment, the pieces come complete with watertight seals.

Ayana's warm minimalism is complete with a chair and low table that reimagine the stylistic features of other seats for an ideal family atmosphere, made with natural teak wood structure and generously padded cushions covered in fabric. The oval top of the coffee table is made of serpentine stone - a characteristic stone found in the Alps known for its wide dimensions - creating a pleasant convivial atmosphere outdoors.

Ayana is an environmentally conscious project; every material used in its production, such as teak wood, is FSC certified (Forest Stewardship Council) so they can be separated and disposed of with consideration for the environment at the end of their usefulness.
