Artu Beads Table and Wox 2 Chair

There is a nice tension in this dining set between very simple geometry and one deliberately playful detail. The Beads table keeps its top thin and perfectly round, then replaces the usual plain pedestal with three chunky, softly rounded wooden volumes stacked like oversized beads above a flat metal base. Around it, the Wox 2 chairs feel almost weightless by comparison: slender tapered legs, a gently curved backrest and a subtly shaped wooden seat give them a clean Scandinavian character without making the design look cold. The contrasting light and dark timber finishes visible in the render also make the grain an important part of the composition.
