Carpets LAPSE 2 & 3 by CC-TAPIS

These rugs feel less like ordinary floor decor and more like abstract landscape compositions brought into an interior. A dense, irregular field of deep green with olive and yellow nuances spreads across the light base, creating the impression of moss, foliage, or organic growth slowly taking over a calm graphic surface. In the center, open areas remain visible with fine black linear details, while several rounded shapes break away from the main contour and make the design feel more spontaneous. The difference in pile height adds extra depth, so the texture becomes especially expressive under soft side lighting.

Lapse 2 and Lapse 3 were designed by Duccio Maria Gambi for the Tempore collection by CC-Tapis. The concept plays with the idea of transformation, as if the pattern is emerging, shifting, and fading at the same time. This 3D model includes both versions, making it easy to use either a taller or a more compact composition in a living room, bedroom, lounge area, or contemporary public space. With their artistic silhouette, tactile surface, and distinctive color palette, these rugs work beautifully as statement pieces in design-focused interiors.
