The Portal Vase designed by Christian Haas and craftsman Antonio Marques for Origin Made and launched in 2019. This oversized vessel, crafted by skilled artisans using the ancient Portuguese Barro Preto technique, makes a stunning decorative piece. Each unique vase is hand-pressed, then buried and fired in a subterranean pit, giving it a dark finish of black, grey, and earthy tones. The matte surface reflects minimal light, creating an illusion of a black portal, perfect for adding depth and intrigue to any interior design.
