Plusminus by Vibia Pendant light





Light travels through this design as though it were following a drawn line. A woven belt stretches freely across the room, turns at fixing points, drops from ceiling to floor, and carries small lamps exactly where illumination is needed. Instead of hiding the electrical path, the Plusminus system makes it part of the interior.
The close-up renders reveal how carefully the idea has been resolved. Coral housings sit against richly textured red webbing, black loops secure each module, and finely ribbed reflectors shape a focused pool of light. Other configurations use slim spotlights clipped to black straps, creating a quieter, more technical character. Designed by Stefan Diez for Vibia, the original collection uses conductive fibres woven into the textile belt, allowing compatible luminaires to be attached at different positions and arranged in taut geometric runs or relaxed suspended curves.
This 3D asset is particularly useful when a scene needs lighting with architectural presence. It can frame a lounge area, trace a corridor, divide an open-plan space, or introduce small pools of directional light without relying on conventional tracks. The combination of fabric, matte metal, clear optical surfaces, and illuminated details also makes the model suitable for close views and product-focused renders.
