he Press Surface Mini by Tom Dixon is a compact yet striking surface‑mounted light. It features thick, ribbed pressed glass with concentric grooves that catch and refract light to create delicate linear and stripy patterns on surrounding surfaces. The central dome, crafted from metal, can be fitted in silver, gold, or black to suit different interior styles.

Designed for both indoor and outdoor use, the fixture includes an integrated 6 W LED source emitting warm 2700 K light. With a diameter of around 21.5 cm and a depth of approximately 8 cm, it offers a minimalist and sculptural presence while remaining unobtrusive in size. The luminaire carries an IP55 rating, ensuring durability for mounting in varied environments.

The production process involves heating molten glass to around 1200 °C then pressing it into molds under high pressure, resulting in a solid, durable form that still feels elegant and refined. Small bubbles in the glass may occur naturally, giving each piece a unique character.

The Press Surface Mini combines clean geometry and artisanal technique. It's ideal for use individually or arranged in clusters, and works beautifully as ambient mood lighting in residential or commercial spaces, adding both visual interest and functional illumination.
