Springfield XD Mod2 (PBR)

The XD pistol is ideal for new gun owners. Its manual safety makes it simple to operate for the first time.

The striker-fired XD features a grip safety and trigger safety that work to keep the gun from firing when its user doesn't have a firm grip on it. This helps prevent shooters from discharging weapons without full grasp or accidentally activating the trigger by pulling on leather or fabric when reholsering their firearm.

It's also equipped with other safety features that make it suitable for any shooter, regardless of experience level or age. These include a recoil spring guide rod that acts as a standoff when someone presses against someone's chest in contact-distance self defense situations and an engagement safety that won't disengage until the center blade has been fully depressed.

Another safety feature is the hammer decocker, which allows you to switch between single-action and double-action firing. By pressing down on the lever, the hammer is decocked, popping back into its fire position when you push it up again - allowing you to carry your gun with both hammers cocked and its safety engaged just like with a single-action only firearm.
