Yamaha RX-V571

If you're searching for an affordable AV receiver, the Yamaha RX-V571 is an ideal option. It offers plenty of functionality at this price point and boasts several useful features that will help create the ultimate home theater system.
In addition to the standard 7.1 channel audio and some extras like a second zone or biamp options, this model supports Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio, Dolby Atmos and DTS-ES Discrete formats as well. Furthermore, there are plenty of eco-friendly features like an integrated Smart Energy Management System and Power Save Mode which can save up to 30% of your total electricity usage.
What's more, the RX-V571 comes equipped with a user manual and CD, an indoor FM and AM antenna, a YPAO microphone for automatic calibration, as well as an easy-to-use system remote control. Furthermore, it has an ethernet port for network playback plus support for Bluetooth and WiFi technologies.
The YPAO system of automatic calibration is an essential feature for any home theater receiver, and this model does not disappoint. This patented technology has proven itself over time to be more efficient than manual setting up the system previously required.
Another noteworthy feature is HDMI 1.4 pass-through for Ultra HD (UHD) signals. Unfortunately, at the time of writing this review the RX-V571 only passed UHD signals at 30fps maximum.
