Sukhoi Su57 (PBR)

The Sukhoi Su57 is a fifth generation frontline fighter being developed for the Russian Air Force. It boasts numerous features that make it a formidable foe, such as stealth capability and advanced electronic warfare capabilities.
What sets the Sukhoi Su57 apart from other fifth-generation stealth fighters?
Like many stealth aircraft, the Su57 is designed to be difficult to detect by conventional radar systems and thus penetrate enemy airspace undetected. Furthermore, its advanced sensor and electronic suite give it a distinct edge in battle.
Its engine can generate high-intensity electromagnetic pulses that can blind other radar systems and provides 360 degrees of visibility around its pilot. Furthermore, its AESA arrays enable it to launch pinpoint electronic attacks.
Russia currently has a small fleet of the Sukhoi Su57 aircraft in operation while it waits for a new generation of engines to be developed. The first production models will not be delivered until the mid-2020s.
The aircraft has been involved in the conflict in Ukraine, though it has only flown missions over Russian soil. Recently, the UK Ministry of Defense released a satellite image that shows five Su-57s parked at Akhtubinsk Air Base near southern Russia - home to the 929th Flight Test Centre.
It is highly unlikely that any of Russia's aircraft will be used in the conflict in Ukraine, as their number is limited and the Russian Air Force possesses more capable fighters. Therefore, it seems more likely that they'll use other stealthy models like the F-35 to engage in battle against Ukrainian military forces.
