BIke Suzuki Katana (PBR)

The new Bike Suzuki Katana stands out from its liter-class peers by not prioritizing function over form. Instead, it takes an established motorcycle platform - in this case the GSX-S1000 street naked - and transforms it into an expression of wabi-sabi design philosophy.
The 999cc engine of the GSX-S1000 has been given an extensive upgrade, featuring a redesigned cam profile, revised valve springs, new electronic throttle bodies and clutch. Furthermore, three engine maps have been programmed into it to give riders more performance options.
It has also been equipped with a ride-by-wire system. While this may seem like an innocuous feature, it works surprisingly well.
On the road, the Katana is an impressive machine with its smooth gearbox and powerful acceleration. The clutch is light and effortless to shift, while the engine remains quiet below 3,500rpm.
The engine may not be as quick to rev as other litre-class bikes, but it more than capable of picking up speed. Plus, its torque curve is impressively strong for a bike in this class - more than enough to propel you forward quickly!
The ride quality of this machine was excellent and even on rain-stricken roads of Maharashtra, it didn't suffer too badly from potholes or roughness. Additionally, it has been fitted with Dunlop Roadsport 2 tyres which are said to be specifically made for this model and will boost confidence around bends.
3d-model for any projects.
