Type 90 Main Battle Tank Low-poly (PBR)

The Type 90 Main Battle Tank is a modern Japanese armored vehicle developed by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries in collaboration with Japan’s Ground Self-Defense Force (JGSDF). It features a low-profile, angular turret with composite armor for enhanced protection against kinetic and shaped-charge threats. The main armament consists of a 120mm smoothbore gun, developed under license from Rheinmetall, capable of firing NATO-standard ammunition. The advanced fire control system includes a laser rangefinder, thermal imaging, and automatic target tracking, ensuring high accuracy in various combat conditions.
The hull is designed for mobility and survivability, incorporating modular armor and an advanced hydropneumatic suspension system. This system allows the tank to adjust its ride height and tilt, improving both cross-country performance and firing stability. A 1,500-horsepower Mitsubishi diesel engine paired with an automatic transmission provides impressive acceleration and maneuverability, enabling the tank to operate effectively in Japan’s mountainous terrain.
The crew layout follows a three-person configuration, with an autoloader replacing the traditional loader role. This allows for a more compact turret design while maintaining a high rate of fire. Secondary armament includes a coaxial 7.62mm machine gun and a roof-mounted 12.7mm heavy machine gun for anti-infantry and low-flying aerial threats.
GameReady Low-poly 3D model of the Type 90 Main Battle Tank is a highly accurate and detailed representation, capturing the tank’s distinctive turret shape, hull structure, and suspension system. The textures and materials accurately depict its composite armor and functional components, making it ideal for simulations, military training software, or game environments. The model ensures realistic proportions and optimized polygon count for high-performance rendering.
