Kenworth T700 2010 - A Leaner Truck for the Leaner Times
Kenworth's new T700 is designed with over-the-road and team driver operations in mind with its spacious wide cab and 75" AERODYNE sleeper. Additionally, it provides best in class forward lighting, reliable serviceability features and either a PACCAR MX or Cummins ISX engine that are both fuel efficient.
The T700 exterior design is aerodynamic and eye-catching. At the front, a larger grille sits above fender-mounted headlamps. Side fairings can be painted or non-painted and made from thermoplastic olefin material.
The interior design of the Kenworth T700 is spacious and ergonomically crafted for drivers. It boasts advanced multiplexed instrumentation, the Kenworth Driver Information Center, as well as modern dash styling.
The Cab boasts industry-leading driver comfort and safety features, such as front airbags. It also includes a 42" liftable lower bunk, pullout desk, door-enclosed hanging closet with ample storage options, wood grain accents, wall-to-wall carpeting, Xenon incandescent lighting bulbs for excellent illumination, and an adjustable flat panel TV mount.
Kenworth T700 trucks are equipped with either a 2010 Paccar MX 13-liter or Cummins ISX 15-liter diesel engine, both meeting 2010 EPA emissions standards and rated from 380 to 485 horsepower and 1,750 lb-ft of torque. Plus, these tractors feature Bendix electronic stability control (ESC), Eaton Fuller UltraShift Plus automated mechanical transmissions, air disc brakes and rear-end air suspension for added control and handling.
Kenworth T700 features Kenworth NavPlus, the industry's first PC-based in-dash navigation and entertainment system. This advanced system offers true truck navigation, vehicle data collection, hands-free calling capabilities, audio controls, camera inputs, roadside assistance services and optional internet access.
