A mid-cycle update to the 2019 Nissan Maxima offers a bold new exterior. Not only does it boast an updated V-Motion grille and triangular fog lights at the front end, but also lower rear fascia with integrated quad exhaust finishers. Furthermore, 18 and 19 inch wheel designs further accentuate this bold appearance.

Inside, the Maxima upholds its status as a premium sports car with plenty of luxury touches. A power tilt/telescoping steering wheel, Around View(r) Monitor, Remote Start1 via Key Fob, heated front seats and premium audio system come standard onboard.

The Maxima's powerful 3.5-liter V-6 engine combined with Nissan's Xtronic continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT) generates 300 horsepower and delivers a satisfyingly grunty driving experience. Sport mode increases revs and throttle response while paddle shifters are available on the SR for even more driving excitement.

The Maxima's handling is composed and stable, thanks to a MacPherson strut/independent link suspension setup and retuned stability electronics. A pair of thicker front antiroll bars along with 19-inch Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric All-Season tires help it grip corners tightly with minimal body roll.

The Maxima's cabin offers plenty of room and comfort, with a high seating position ideal for drivers who like to get out of the way. An 8-inch touchscreen and comprehensive NissanConnect infotainment system come standard on all models; SR and Platinum variants get 19-inch wheels as well as semi-aniline diamond-quilted Rakuda Tan leather seating.
