School Bus Blue Bird

Established in 1932, School Bus Blue Bird has since grown to be the third-largest bus manufacturer in America. Headquartered in Fort Valley, Georgia, Blue Bird produces a variety of models and options designed to meet the demands of today's school bus drivers and passengers.
Blue Bird's flagship products are the All American Rear Engine (RE) and Vision school buses, designed with driver ergonomics, productivity, safety, serviceability and passenger comfort in mind. These vehicles are built upon Blue Bird's time-honored foundation of school bus-specific design, superior materials and no corners cut construction - providing customers with unbeatable reliability for years to come.
Blue Bird is proud to be a member of Sourcewell, offering flexible purchasing solutions to government and non-profit agencies through competitively solicited contract purchases. This makes it simpler for local schools, municipalities, and other entities to find vehicles that best suit their individual requirements.
Continuing to Lead the Industry
Blue Bird's all-new Vision school bus sets new benchmarks in safety, productivity, reliability and comfort. From its 33% larger bonded-for-strength windshield to its recessed LED rear lighting, the Vision showcases Blue Bird's commitment to school bus design excellence and superior materials.
The Vision school bus has a capacity range of 48 to 77 students and can run on either diesel or propane fuel. Additionally, it's the first bus to feature Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) technology - which enables Highland to collaborate with nearby utility providers to manage vehicle charging and replenish stored energy back into the grid as needed.
