Admiral Gorshkov class frigate (PBR)

The Admiral Gorshkov class frigate (Project 22350) is a new generation of surface combatants designed for the Russian Navy to replace Soviet-era Neustrashimyy and Krivak-class warships. These frigates can perform multiple roles such as long range strike, anti-submarine warfare, as well as escorting missions in distant maritime zones.
On July 28th 2018, Russia delivered the first ship of a new class as part of their naval modernisation initiative. After several delays, this class will eventually serve as the foundation for future ship
The Admiral Gorshkov Class is distinguished by its sophisticated missile armament, which includes various platforms capable of striking targets at sea or on land, as well as air defence systems to protect against incoming aircraft and ballistic missile attacks. Furthermore, these frigates will have advanced navigation and communication systems so they can operate safely in various marine environments.
Another notable characteristic of the design is its size - accommodating a total displacement of 5,400 tons when fully loaded. This represents an enormous improvement over previous Krivak Class frigates, which were similar in dimensions.
The ship's armament consists of 48 vertical launch systems and 16 cruise missile platforms deployed in 32 cells. These are primarily navalised versions of the S-400TM and S-350TM air defence missiles already aboard the Navy's surface fleet.
