Cicada Pomponia

A stunning Pomponia cicada from Thailand, part of the super family called Cicadidae. The Pomponia is a genus of cicada, a family of large flying insects. Most of the large cicadas have been placed in this genus, but recent authroites have moved some of these into Magapomponia instead.
