Bar by miyazaki chair

At first glance, BAR looks almost carved rather than assembled. The seat rises gently at the back and sweeps down toward the front in one continuous, organic curve, while four slim wooden legs keep the silhouette surprisingly light. The design comes from INODA+SVEJE and belongs to the same family as the DC09 and DC10 chairs; Miyazaki Chair Factory introduced BAR in 2017. Its sculpted seat was developed to follow the body closely, which explains the unusually deep, saddle-like shaping visible in the renders.
The 3D model captures the details that make this counter chair interesting at close range: flowing transitions between the seat and legs, natural wood grain, softly rounded edges and a metal footrest wrapping around the base. Light oak and darker walnut-style finishes give the piece noticeably different moods, while black and brass-toned footrest variations add a restrained contrast. It is a strong choice for kitchen islands, breakfast counters, bars, restaurants and understated hospitality interiors where handcrafted timber furniture needs to carry the scene without looking bulky.
