Bonbori by Brokis

Table lamp Bonbori by Brokis pays homage to the traditional paper lamps that line the pathways leading up to shrines and temples during annual paddy harvest festivals in Japan, with its delicate handblown glass creating an enchanting ambiance that can be enjoyed both alone or surrounded by family and friends.

Brokis presents its inaugural outdoor lighting collection, designed by world-renowned Japanese designer Fumie Shibata. Inspired by both "bonbori", meaning both "paper lamp" and "soft light coming from a snowy cave", this outdoor version of their indoor table lamp can now be enjoyed outdoors in gardens or terraces alike.

This lamp's structure and circular base are constructed of powder coated metal, while the diffuser is cylindrical in glossy blown glass available in smoky gray, smoky brown, transparent opal or triplex opal. The LED light source used is dimmable and can withstand temperatures below freezing.

Table lamp Bonbori by Brokis offers a modern take on the traditional lantern, featuring its stainless steel base with delicate handblown glass shade made of multiple layers of carefully moulded glass. Protected in an environmentally friendly weather-resistant powder coating, this outdoor lighting piece can be placed beside beds or dining tables to cast a soft glow into spaces.
