Equatore Fontana Arte Table Lamp

The Equatore table lamp by Fontana Arte (design Gabriele e Oscar Buratti, 2017) offers a modern reinterpretation of the classic lamp with a glass lampshade. The originality of the lamp is that the lampshade is paradoxically empty, and the light is emitted by two luminous disks placed inside a central metal band visible on the lampshade and resembling the line of the equator. Thanks to internal screens arranged in layers, the light created by the LEDs is regularly distributed across the surface of the discs, magically illuminating them. The lower disc directs the light downward, while the upper one illuminates the glass hood, creating a soft, diffused light. The lamp would make a great choice for an elegant office interior or for a bedside table in the bedroom.
