Colt M1911A1 (PBR)

The Colt M1911A, also known as the Mark IV Model 1911, is an iconic American semi-automatic pistol designed in 1904 by John Browning and adopted by the United States military for service and competition shooting ever since.
The M1911 comes in a wide variety of frame sizes and barrel lengths. Popular models include Commander, Officer and Defender models.
Commander Frame: This popular compact version of the Colt M1911 has been modified to be less than an inch longer in both barrel and slide length, yet otherwise maintains the same overall size and weight as a full-sized 1911. Some prefer this model for concealed carry purposes.
Officer frame: The Colt M1911 subcompact model features a shorter grip than its Commander counterpart and a smaller barrel. It limits magazine capacity to six rounds of.45 ACP ammunition; however, some manufacturers produce pistols with shorter grips that hold more rounds.
M45A1: Colt Defense created this special version of the Colt M1911 for use by Marine Corps Forces Special Operations Command (MARSOC) and special-operations capable Marine Expeditionary Units. It boasts a Picatinny accessory rail, night sights and desert-tan paint job.
Combat Commander: This Colt M1911 features a dual spring recoil system, Novak night sights, beavertail grip safety and undercut trigger guard. Plus it has 1913 Picatinny rail for mounting lights or lasers as well as checkering on the front strap to provide extra grip in slippery conditions.
