GLOBO CHAIR2

The eye goes straight to the spherical timber frame. Broad curved ribs wrap around the seat like a loose wooden cage, leaving enough open space for the chair to feel airy despite its generous size. Inside, deep red cushions completely change the mood - soft, slightly rumpled and almost oversized against the precise geometry of the wood. Thin red ties fastening the upholstery to the frame are a small detail, but they do a lot for realism. The real Globo Chair is designed as a suspended lounge seat with padded upholstery, while this version measures roughly 48 × 30 × 48 inches.
I would give this piece some room in a visualization instead of squeezing it into a conventional furniture group. It has enough personality to become the main accent on a covered terrace, veranda, winter garden or relaxed contemporary living space. The 3D model is particularly convincing from oblique and rear angles, where the layered wooden hoops, suspension hardware and cushion-filled interior become much more noticeable. Natural wood grain against saturated fabric also provides an easy source of material contrast without adding extra decor around it. The geometry is UV mapped and supplied with textures and materials, with MAX, FBX and OBJ versions available for use in different 3D workflows.
