Banshee Flight Drone (PBR)

QinetiQ's Banshee range of fixed-wing aerial targets simulate threats from airborne aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), and modern aerial threat weapons. They are used to test the operational readiness and effectiveness of weapon systems such as man-portable air defence missiles/surface-to-air missiles, air-to-air missiles, and cannon systems.
Banshee Jet 40 and 80+

The Banshee family's latest addition, the Banshee Jet 80+, is a jet propelled drone which can be launched via catapult. With an 8.5 foot wingspan and powered by two 45 kg thrust gas turbine engines that provide 90kg of static thrust each, this drone provides plenty of power!

It can soar to 25,000ft, skimming just above the waves at speeds up to 400 knots and remain airborne for 45 minutes. It is capable of carrying various payloads such as infra-red tracking flares, anti-radar chaff dispensers and radar enhancing devices.
Banshee NG

The Banshee NG is a smaller, lighter and more agile version of its older brother the Banshee family. It can operate from existing Hercules pneumatic launchers which reduces maintenance expenses and time-to-flight significantly.
Adaptable and Reliable

Built upon the legacy of the Banshee series of fixed-wing aerial targets, the Banshee NG is capable of carrying multiple payloads at different locations. It has been equipped with a digital autopilot, telemetry and GPS for reliable flight at ranges up to 100km.
