MH 6 Little Bird camo (PBR)

For decades, US Special Operations Command's inventory has relied on the MH 6 Little Bird as its go-to rotorcraft due to its small size, agility and speed - ideal for maneuvering in and out of dangerous situations. This rotorcraft remains a mainstay in their arsenal today.
Hughes developed the AH-6/MH-6 "Little Birds," which have been an indispensable asset to US Special Operations Forces since the early 1980s. Initially used as a scout helicopter for Army armored units, these aircraft have since become a mainstay of SOCOM's inventory.
The 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment, commonly referred to as Night Stalkers, utilizes highly specialized aircraft for inserting teams into and out of hostile environments. Based on the MD 500 family of helicopters, these lightweight rotorcraft have been customized extensively for special forces operations.
The 160th SOAR relies heavily on the MH-6 for close air support and personnel transport. They are equipped with various weapons such as grenades, air-to-air missiles, and machine guns for weaponry.
This platform is ideal for scouting and forward air control, offering an agile and precise scout. This versatile vehicle boasts a high rate of fire, great maneuverability and plenty of weapon capacity to ensure success.
It has a devoted following within military forces and is often referred to as the 'Killer Egg'. Unfortunately, its usage will diminish in the near future as the Pentagon shifts focus toward great power competition with Russia and China.
