Panzerkampfwagen VI AusfB Tiger II (PBR)

The Panzerkampfwagen VI AusfB Tiger II was a German armored fighting vehicle developed in the late 1930s by engineers led by Henschel. Though heavier than its rival, Panther, this tank proved more maneuverable and could cover longer distances with just as much fuel consumption.
Its weaponry consisted of an 8.8 cm KwK 43 gun mounted in a removable turret rear. Additionally, it had an integrated close defense weapon located within the turret that could fire either smoke or flare rounds for concealment and signaling purposes or High Explosive Rounds to protect the vehicle from enemy infantry at close ranges.
However, one of the Tiger II's primary flaws was its slow and unsteady nature. Crossing bridges - especially wooden ones - proved challenging and much time was wasted fording rivers when traversing Western Europe's muddy and rocky terrain.
Even while sitting stationary on unpaved ground, if the soil was damp, Henschel's King Tiger could easily sink into it and the driver's job depended on their capacity for control and coolness in combat. With Henschel's OLVAR gearbox and two-radius steering system, however, Henschel significantly improved driver efficiency in these conditions.
Henschel's HL-230 P 30 12-cylinder engine provided 700 horsepower at 3,000 rpm through an 8-speed Maybach transmission (OG 40 12 16B Schaltgetriebe), allowing drivers to travel at speeds of up to 41.5 km/h; however, this machine was not particularly efficient due to the lack of air filter and could easily overheat or develop oil leaks due to its lack of protection.
