Lada Compact (PBR)

The Lada Compact is an economical, small and practical car designed for budget-minded buyers. Although its design may be simple, it's quite stylish - certainly more so than some of Russia's other budget-minded models.
The Vesta is powered by a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine producing 145 horsepower and 134 pound-feet of torque. It's coupled to a five-speed manual transmission, sending power to all four wheels via an all-wheel-drive system with locking front and rear differentials.
This car offers amazing value at its price point and it's actually fun to drive on the road. Even on rougher surfaces like asphalt or rutted roads, the low ratio transfer gearbox, hose-outable interior and diff lock make for an engaging driving experience. This model also excels in off-road scenarios due to its low ratio transfer gearbox, hose-outable interior and diff lock.
Though not as thrilling to drive as some of its rivals, the Lada 4x4 offers plenty of excitement when pushed hard. Unlike other budget SUVs, this model boasts plenty of capability in its wheelbase, chassis and weighting to handle any situation that comes your way.
Unfortunately, the Lada Compact is in jeopardy due to Western sanctions against Russia. Production at their factories had to cease for several days but a representative from Renault in Russia stated that limited production will resume next week. With increased focus on modern and sophisticated vehicle models for Russian consumers, Renault hopes to regain momentum in this sector of their operations.
