Maserati Ghibli Hybrid

The Maserati Ghibli Hybrid brings together the iconic Italian sedan's fame with the eco-friendly prowess of a hybrid system.

The hybrid edition of the Ghibli is powered by a 2.0 liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with an electric supercharger, 48-volt alternator and rear-mounted battery. Together these components produce 330 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque - enough to propel you from zero to 62 mph in just 5.7 seconds and on up to 158 mph.

This mild hybrid (MHEV) model isn't as efficient as a diesel-burning model, but it does benefit from improved weight distribution. Furthermore, the vehicle uses a ZF 8-speed automatic gearbox - an increasingly popular choice among sports cars.

Inside, the cabin offers an upgraded experience from the standard model. A 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system runs Google's Android Automotive interface and is accompanied by an eight-speaker audio system that's available with either Harman/Kardon or Bowers & Wilkins premium systems.

Blue accents adorn three side air vents, the brake calipers and Trident logo on the rear pillar - an elegant nod to the vehicle's eco-friendliness.

Exterior features include boomerang-shaped inserts on the rear lights and a grille with double blade spokes reminiscent of a tuning fork. Other details include blue-colored stitching inside and vents chiseled into the front fenders.

Other notable upgrades are a Skyhook Adaptive Suspension and 12-way-power sport seats with memory function. The 10.1-inch display includes navigation, SiriusXM satellite radio, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support; there's also an upgraded 10-speaker Harman/Kardon setup as well as 15-speaker Bowers & Wilkins Premium Surround sound system.
