Hummer H3

The H3 is an intimidatingly tough, off-road capable mid-size SUV available with either a five-cylinder engine or V-8 powerplant. The 3.7-liter inline five-cylinder produces 239 horsepower and 241 pounds of torque.
The V-8 Alpha boasts 300 horsepower and 320 pounds-feet of torque, enabling it to hit 60 mph in just eight seconds and consume slightly less fuel than its 3.7-liter counterpart.
The H3's impressive off-road capabilities make it perfect for adventurous road trips and rough terrain like mountain roads, off-road trails and rock formations. It can climb 16" vertical steps and boulders, crawl over deep sand dunes and drive through water--as long as the depth isn't too great.
On the highway, the H3 offers comfort and quiet. It may not be as sporty as some SUVs, but it isn't slow either; it can tow up to 4,500 pounds with ease.
The H3 is 16.9 inches shorter, 6 inches lower and 6.5 inches narrower than its predecessor - making it easier to maneuver when driving.
Standard features include power locks, windows and door mirrors as well as AM/FM radio with CD player and XM Satellite Radio with three months trial service. A rear vision system using a camera mounted directly above the trailer hitch mount as well as navigation are optional.
A luxury package, featuring leather seats and an audio upgrade, is available. It also comes with automatic transmission and electronic stability control at a cost of approximately $1,700 more than the standard model.
