Nice Chair By Poltrona Frau

What gives Nice its identity is the way the upholstery seems to fold around the body rather than simply sit on a frame. The back is made from two overlapping shell-like layers, leaving a narrow opening above the seat and producing a surprisingly expressive rear view. From the front, soft vertical creases gather across the inner backrest, while the rounded seat rolls gently over its edge. Light beige leather keeps those details subtle, and the slim dark legs stop the chair from becoming visually heavy. The contrast between the tailored stitching, smooth outer shell and softer inner surface is particularly convincing in close-up renders.
Created by GamFratesi for Poltrona Frau, Nice was conceived as a compact dining chair with an enveloping shape. The original can be upholstered in Pelle Frau leather or fabric, with options including Saddle Extra leather on the outside, while the four-leg base is offered in metal or solid ash. Its dimensions are approximately 57 cm wide, 53 cm deep and 80.5 cm high. The Nice Chair 3D model captures the details that make the design recognizable - the folded-shell construction, rear gap, piping and gently wrinkled upholstery - making it a strong piece for refined dining rooms, meeting spaces and contemporary hospitality interiors. The archive includes MAX, OBJ and FBX formats.
