M113 – APC (PBR)

The M113 is an iconic armored personnel carrier (APC) widely used by military forces around the world. Its design is highly functional, with a rectangular, box-like shape made of aluminum armor that provides light protection against small arms fire and shell fragments. The vehicle is relatively lightweight for an armored carrier, enabling it to be amphibious, a feature that enhances its versatility on various terrains, including rivers and marshlands.
The front of the M113 is characterized by a sloping glacis plate, which helps in deflecting projectiles. A central driver’s hatch is located on the left side of the front, while a commanding officer’s hatch is on the right. On top of the hull, a large, open-topped hatch allows troops to enter and exit the vehicle, along with rear double doors for quick deployment.
Equipped with a diesel engine, the M113 offers decent mobility both on and off-road, and can carry up to 11 fully equipped soldiers in addition to its crew. The armament typically includes a mounted M2 Browning .50 caliber machine gun for suppressive fire, which is controlled from a small turret or a pintle mount near the commander's hatch.
This 3D model accurately represents the M113, with its PBR-textures that highlight the APC's rugged surface and metallic details. It captures the real-world functionality of the vehicle, making it an ideal asset for military simulations, games, or virtual training environments.
