PL-10 Missile (China air-to-air missile) (PBR)

The PL-10 Missile is an air-to-air missile (AAM) developed by China and deployed with the People's Liberation Army Air Force. It's designed to outrange the AIM-120C/D AMRAAM series.
The PL-10 is the first of a new generation of air-to-air guided weapons being deployed across Pakistan's fighter fleet. It also has been designated "PL-15E," and has been equipped to Pakistani JF-17 Block III and J-10C fighters, both currently in service.
This high-performance air-to-air missile boasts Lock On After Launch (LOAL), providing strapdown inertial midcourse guidance. With an extended range of over 186 miles and guidance provided through a datalink and Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) seeker head said to be highly resistant to electronic countermeasures, it stands as one of the world's premier air-to-air missiles.
The PL-10 missile is an impressive weapon, capable of dealing a high damage-per-missile (DPM) at low altitudes while offering excellent maneuverability with thrust vector controls. It has an off-axis angle several times greater than third generation air-to-air missiles, making it especially valuable to combat aircraft equipped with advanced helmet-mounted cueing systems. Plus, with an overload rating up to 50G at low altitudes and 15G in high altitudes, this missile can deliver lethal strikes on enemy fighters alike. This capability makes the PL-10 suitable for various missions including close range or long range engagements.
