Triumph Dolomite Sprint car

Are you searching for a classic car that's fun, interesting and definitely a show stopper? Look no further than the Dolomite Sprint. Though it may not have achieved the same fame as some of its rivals such as the BMW 2002 or Alfa Romeo 2000 GTV, this model remains widely loved and impressive today.
In 1973, the Dolomite Sprint was unveiled and featured styling by Giovanni Michelotti - a longtime favorite of Triumph as well as the designer of the BMW 2002. Created to compete against these cars, along with Alfa Romeo 2000 GTV and BMW 2002 models, the Sprint offered sports car performance along with an all-inclusive saloon package to appeal to a wider audience.
The Dolomite Sprint, powered by a 2.0-litre 16 valve single cam engine, is truly impressive, producing 127 hp (SAE) or 122 bhp (DIN). This marked an improvement over the 1500's 135 horsepower and propelled it to an incredible top speed of 119 mph.
Inside, the Sprint's interior exudes luxury rather than performance, boasting wooden dashboard trim and door cappings, an abundance of dials, and ample stowage options. Even its steering wheel is small but well-weighted for added driver enjoyment.
The Dolomite Sprint offers comfort and practicality in abundance, boasting enough room for four in its spacious cabin. While seats may not offer as much support as an RS200, you still get ample trunk space to store all your luggage on longer journeys.
